Step 2: Pay the Marriage License Fee

Once your marriage license application has been submitted, a fee will be due to the Clerk of Court before your license can be issued.

The standard Florida marriage license fee is generally $86.00. Florida couples who complete an approved premarital preparation course may qualify for a reduced fee of approximately $61.00 and may also have the waiting period waived.
